Black & White

I made this little 2D plateformer for a Game Jam. Inspired by the game "Thomas was alone" I recreated a whole 2D game with several levels deepening this mechanism of switching between characters and helping each other to finish the levels. Indeed, the small white cube cannot touch the surfaces of the same color as it and the large black cube cannot touch the surfaces of the same color as it (the gray surfaces are without danger for the 2 cubes).

In addition, each cube has its own characteristics, the small white cube is slow but jumps high while the big black cube is very fast but does not really jump high. With their specificities it is necessary to pass the 5 levels which all have a different theme and a difficulty which increases over the levels. Indeed at each level the player learns a new mechanic and on the last level he must group everything together in order to finish the game!
